Windows 7 GodMode (win7 secrete!)

The spot where you can find whatever tool and help file you need is called “God Mode” maybe because it appears to be omniscient and omnipotent! To get there, here is what you have to do:

First, create a new folder by right-clicking on the “C:” drive. When the folder is created, you will have the opportunity to name it. Name it

 GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
(yes, it’s a goofy name.) Notice the period right after GodMode and make sure there is no space between the period and the curly brace. The easiest thing to do is just to copy and paste the string right out of here.

Now test it by double-clicking on the folder. If it works, you’ll see a menu of just about everything you’d ever want to do to your Windows 7 computer. If it doesn’t work, double-check the folder name again, and fix the typo.
